They have anti theft locks that cover the assembly so nobody can tamper with it while you are away keys are included. Which simply slide onto these base support system bars they are hardly ever used, in pristine condition. They allow maximum roof load up to 200 pounds. No tools required just hand tighten the bolts and push down the lever to lock it in place.

I am selling my Bmw roof rack support base system because I sold my car recently and have no use for them anymore. I will provide ground shipping cost once the purchase is made. These are oem parts that only fit the F10 body 5 series sedans 2010 present model years.
