Details:

Has been in the rafters of the garage for 11 years. I used the VW Audi bike rack and a Yakima ski rack. Oem roof bars these are a really rare find, Audi only made them for 2 years. This comes with everything shown in the pictures on the rack two Thule bike holders and the oem tt bars.

These are very rare and only show up every now and again. They bolt into the mounting points on the tt roof. They're in good shape, but not perfect the hardware and locking covers are missing but I am including two very nice Thule bike racks and free shipping in the us.

Even with a bike or a load of skis on the roof there was only a small increase in wind noise, never any whistling or other annoyances. This rack has a slotted groove track for attachments, I think VW Audi uses the same track design for current racks so accessories should still be available. These can still be mounted and feel very secure. My mother in law bought a 2000 tt in 2003 and this was in it.

The protective pad is still under all four corners and the person who owned the car before her broke off all the latches because he didn't like to hunt for the key. If your car does not have these features, do not bid. Also, aftermarket rack manufacturers like Thule Yakima sell clamps to attach their accessories.
