This kit includes 2 load retainers Cross bars pictured, 1 torque wrench tool pictured and instructions for mounting the load retainers Cross bars.

The instructions are from a v70 manual, but if your vehicle is in the list above, they should mount to the similar roof rails. In fitting the Cross bars for shipping, I screwed the clamp ends jaws to the smallest setting. If you'd feel better, check with a Volvo dealer to see if this part fits the roof rails on your vehicle.

I separately bought roof rails from a Volvo dealer had them install those roof rails before I could mount the load retainers Cross bars. So one end of each Cross bar attaches to the left roof rail and the other end of each Cross bar attaches to the right roof rail.
