They have locking caps to keep anyone from removing them without the key remove cap. If you want to know they will fit other years and model's, call thule support, mention that were on a 2016 Hyundai Tucson, ask them any model's. This allows wind to pass through them and not make any sound. You can find cheaper roof racks, but these are high end, and not so cheap.

There is a rubber rib in the of each, so they provide grip. My guess is that they prevent whistling, and other noise can happen when wind blows through the roof. They are built well, and possibly the best you can get. They will come with two keys for the locking caps, installation tools to tighten them down, and all paperwork that came.

They look great on the roof. I have two keys and all the hardware these came with. I originally bought a 2016 Hyundai Tucson, and this was the only manufacturer that had model for it. I have since traded in my Tucson on a new truck.

The racks fits a 2016 Hyundai Tucson, they may fit other model's, even same year of Kia, as long roof has integral rails, meaning no space below them. They don't need much to install them, are really simple. In 2016 Hyundai and Kia started making integral roof rails, meaning that they are molded into the roof, have no space under them.

I know they can be adapted to other model's with a change of few parts, but thule will the one tell you that. Well, these are aeroblade, and they shaped like a wing, narrow on the front edge, thicker back side. They are in very good condition, and all rubber is shape. Ask all questions before purchase.
